JEFFREY L. BRYDEN
CFA, President and CIO Jeffrey L. Bryden, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science Degree from Ball State University in 1978 with dual degrees in Finance and Economics. Upon graduation he accepted a position with M&I Investment Management Corp. as their first Portfolio Manager dedicated to managing fixed income portfolios. In 1983, he accepted a Senior Portfolio Management position with National Investment Services Of America, Inc. (NISA) and led the fixed income portfolio management efforts of the firm’s national introduction of dedicated and immunized fixed income strategies. In total, Mr. Bryden was responsible for over $6 billion in fixed income assets including a single $3.4 billion portfolio. In 1991, NISA was transitioned to new management and Mr. Bryden initiated the formation of a new quantitatively-based fixed income product and strategy within Fiduciary Management of Milwaukee. In 1995, the fixed income business was purchased and merged into Reinhart, Mahoney & Bryden Capital Management and grew to over $650 million. In 2001 an unexpected corporate restructuring forced Mr. Bryden to re-establish and expand his business under Campbell Newman Asset Management, Inc. where he grew the fixed income assets under management to exceed 60% of the firm’s total assets under management.

In 2008, Mr. Bryden founded JB Investment Management LLC in order to develop a team of experienced investment professionals dedicated to providing unique expertise and customized investment-grade fixed income strategies together with passive index-based equity strategies.

JONATHAN G. RIGANO
CFA, Vice President / Portfolio Manager Jonathan G. Rigano, graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in 1997 and a Master of Science degree in 1999 majoring in Financial Analysis. He began his investment career at Pennant Management, Inc. in 1999. During his 10 years at this investment firm he progressed to Vice President and was individually or jointly responsible for over $550 million in assets under management. Mr. Rigano successfully managed a top ranking high-quality limited duration U.S. Government mutual fund and served as a consultant for financial institution and corporate investment committees. His investment experience includes managing equity and fixed income portfolios for municipalities, pensions, foundations, profit sharing plans, self insurance trusts, workers compensation pools, and high net-worth individuals.
 
Mr. Rigano joins JB Investment Management LLC at its inception as Vice President and Portfolio Manager. In this capacity he will share responsibility for fixed income and equity portfolio management strategies, research and trading. In addition, he functions as the firm’s Compliance Officer.

GAIL L. BETZHOLD
Director of Administration Gail L. Betzhold, joined JB Investment Management, LLC in 2008, at its inception. Previously, she worked with Mr. Bryden as a Fixed Income Associate at Campbell Newman Asset Management, Inc. beginning in 2004. She has experience working at investment firms for over 11 years handling multiple aspects of client administration and management for both equity and fixed income clients. Prior to that, she was employed at a Milwaukee insurance agency, as the Business/Office Manager overseeing the office and a staff of four.

Ms. Betzhold’s duties at JBIM are the management of the office administration and operations. This includes the import, maintenance and administration of the CMS BondEdge portfolio analytic system along with the client management system Advent Axys. She will assist the investment team in account reconciliation, fixed income analysis and general portfolio management support.

RENAE ENGEL
Office assistant Renae Engel, has extensive experience in an office setting. Her knowledge includes all facets of human resources, including benefits, training and marketing. Ms. Engel previously worked as a Recruitment Coordinator for a law firm. She also was a consultant for the start up of a branch of a building company. Ms. Engel will be providing comprehensive secretarial and clerical support to staff and management.
